A2 ADMISSIONS
Two Mile Ash School is a Foundation School and, as such, the Governing Body of the school and not Milton Keynes Local Authority, is responsible for deciding on admissions. The dates and process of application will be in accordance with the Coordinated Admissions Scheme, details of which will be published by the Local Authority.
Children who have a statement of Special Educational Needs naming Two Mile Ash School will be given priority for admission in the normal admissions round at 7+.
The number of intended admissions will be 160. Two Mile Ash School will admit pupils aged 7 to 11 years of age (i.e. Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) based on the following admissions criteria:
- Children in Care.
- Children living in the defined area (Great Holm & Two Mile Ash).
- Children living outside the defined area with a sibling who will be attending Two Mile Ash School at the time of admission.
- Children living outside the defined area attending Ashbrook or Holmwood schools.
- Children living outside the defined area.
If the school is oversubscribed places will be allocated according to the distance of the pupil’s home address to the school as measured by the shortest direct (i.e. straight line) route from the home to the main entrance (Reception) of the school.
