Morning Minders 8.00am - 8.40am
Cost: 50p per session, per child
Morning Minders are for children in years 4, 5 & 6 only.
After School Care Club: 3.30pm - 6.00pm
After School Care Club is for children in years 3, 4, 5 & 6 and as we are now registered with Ofsted, parents will be able to claim Government child care support.
Cost per child: Whole session - 3.30-6pm - £6.50, 1st Half session - 3.30-4.45pm - £3.25, 2nd Half session - 4.45-6pm - £3.25.
If following an extra curricular club, you would like your child to attend After School Care Club, then you will only be charged for the 2nd half session.
Children are allowed onto the playground from 8.30am and into their classrooms from 8.40am. Should you wish your child to be supervised before school, the Morning Minders club is available on a drop-in basis from 8.00am. This does not need to be pre-booked in advance.
The charge is £0.50 for the whole session, regardless of whether your child arrives at 8.00 am or 8.25 am. A register is taken of attendance; bills are raised on a monthly basis and prompt payment is expected.
We offer an after-school care service during term time from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm, where your child can take part in supervised activities including arts and crafts, TV/video, board games, snooker table, along with access to the school’s computer facilities. At certain times of the year, when weather and daylight permit, time can also be spent outside playing games or using the adventure playground.
We have experienced problems in the past with persistent late pick up after 6pm. We understand there can occasionally be unavoidable delays caused by traffic, but if lateness continues to be a problem, a charge of £4.00 per day will be levied.
In order to ensure adequate staff cover, this facility has to be pre-booked and pre-paid at least a week in advance. Children cannot just turn up after school and expect to be admitted. A sample booking form is available on the 'Downloadable Forms' section in the 'Parent Zone' or obtained, if and when required, from reception or from the club itself. Exact payment must be submitted with the booking form, otherwise the booking cannot be accepted. (Cheques must be made payable to ‘Two Mile Ash School’).
Please note that, for either club, if payments are not made on time, the school will exercise the right to remove your child’s name from the attendance list. Please help us to continue providing such excellent facilities for you by paying your fees on time. If you should, at any time, experience financial difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Sarah Bennett (Acting Headteacher) or Mrs Edwards (Business Manager) as soon as possible, where the matter will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence, whilst at the same time forming an agreed arrangement.
Please note that no refunds will be made if your child does not attend any pre-booked session (unless there are exceptional circumstances). We do not currently offer any provision on INSET days or during the school holidays, however we are planning to introduce Holiday Schemes in the near future. Further information will be available in due course.
