Equipment

At Two Mile Ash we aim is to develop the children’s independence and encourage them to be organised.  To support this we expect all children to be equipped with basic stationary: a pencil case containing a pen, pencil, ruler, rubber and sharpener are essential for everyday working. Please note, we do not allow the children to use biros but any roller ball/ fiber tip type pen works well. We recommend Berol handwriting pens which can be bought in reception for 50p – although this is not essential.

We do not allow the use of ink eraser pens or any tippex type correction fluid.

We would ask for your support in limiting the size of bag that your child brings to school as there is limited space available for storage.

 Bikes – Scooters

We very much encourage children to walk or cycle to school as part of a healthy lifestyle.  Our bicycle shed has been extended so that more children can bring their bikes into school.  If your child would like to take advantage of this then they must complete a bicycle permit form which is held in reception, and must agree to wear a bicycle helmet to help ensure their safety.

The children must walk their bikes down the slope and onto the top playground.

NB:  Any behaviour deemed silly or dangerous or repeated failure to wear a safety helmet will lead to the removal of the bicycle permit.
